A year at our school
Kindergarten Orientation for 2026
In Week 5 & Week 6 of Term 4, we welcomed four groups of students for Kindy Orientation. The students really enjoyed having a buddy to support them and help with their learning in the classroom, during sports and library lessons, and even while eating their recess. Each student received a framed photo to take home, serving as a special reminder of their time at ‘big school’.
It’s hard to believe another cohort of students will commence their school journey next year while we are just about to farewell an incredible Year 6 cohort.
Musical Productions
Bellevue Hill Public School’s biennial musical is a cherished tradition that brings our whole community together. What began as small shows in the old hall has grown into a professionally staged production at The Juniors Club, with three casts so every student can perform. Over the years, our musicals have taken audiences on imaginative adventures, brought to life through the creativity of our staff and volunteers. The musical remains a highlight of school life and a joyful celebration of our students’ talents.
Since 2012, our biennial Art Show has become a much loved celebration of creativity across the school. Each event transforms the hall into a vibrant gallery featuring professionally presented artworks by every student from Kindergarten to Year 6. The evening begins with a community BBQ before the official opening, and a highlight of the night is the collaborative class artworks, showcased in a lively auction that brings families together. Featuring everything from paintings and mixed media pieces to textiles and 3D designs, the Art Show leaves a lasting legacy, with many student works proudly displayed around the school, reflecting the creative spirit that defines our community.
“The BHPS community is incredibly welcoming. Our family built lifelong friendships and always felt supported, valued and connected throughout our years here.” - Jo a parent of Bellevue Hill Public School
