Before and After School Activities

There are a range of activities available for students of Bellevue Hill Public School to enrol in before or after school has finished for the day.

They are all run by external companies and you will need to contact them directly for information such as up to date times, days, fees and enrolment information.

Association for Brazilian Bilingual Children's Development

Thursdays: 4:00pm - 6:00pm

The classes aim to assist parents to teach their children to speak, read and write in Portuguese and maintain their Brazilian cultural traditions so as to help the children to become proficient, proud bicultural beings.

Art On Canvas for Kids

Wednesdays: 3:30pm - 4:30pm (upstairs in the Hebrew rooms)

This after school program, held inside the school, includes hands-on art activities where students will be painting or drawing and be supported by our instructors at the same time to bring home their proud masterpiece!

BHPS - Hebrew, Russian and Italian language extension classes

Mondays (Kindergarten), Wednesdays (Year 2) and Thursdays (Year 1): 8:45am – 9:10am

Led by Bellevue Hill Public School language teachers, these engaging 25-minute lessons provide Kindergarten and Year 1 students with the opportunity to extend their learning in Hebrew, Russian or Italian through fun, interactive and age-appropriate activities.

Board of Jewish Education

Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays: 8:15am - 9:00am

BJE empowers every Jewish child who attends a non-Jewish Day School with the opportunity to connect and develop Jewish friendship networks, to learn through formal and informal experiences and to engage with and actively contribute to Jewish life, Jewish community organisations and broader society.

Dream Drama

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays: 3:30pm - 5:30pm

This after school program, held inside the school, consists of drama games, acting and playmaking, improvisation and creative drama, mime and movement, poetry, reading and storytelling as well as vocal technique.

Ikarate

Wednesdays: 4:00pm - 7:00pm (in the hall)

This after school program, held inside the school, specialises in karate for children. We focus on self-confidence and self-esteem and divide classes according to age and experience.

My Creation Station

Wednesdays: 3:15pm - 5:00pm

Each class offers you the opportunity to go on a creative journey as you paint, glue, sew and draw your own ideas, to handmake jewellery, artwork or an object for the home.

Russian Harmony School of Sydney

Saturdays: 9:00am - 3:00pm

Students will develop the knowledge, understanding and the listening, reading, speaking and writing skills necessary for effective interaction in Russian.

Sydney Academy of Chess

Tuesdays and Thursdays: 8:30am - 9:15am

As the term progresses and the children become proficient in all of the basics, the lessons will move on to more complex ideas such as opening traps, tactics, planning and calculating many moves ahead.
