Our Stage 3 camp to Canberra is just around the corner. Please read the important information below. To ensure we depart to Canberra on time, students need to be at school on Monday 25 March by 7:15am. Please have your child report directly to their teacher in the front playground. The coaches will depart the school by 7:45am. Our expected time of return is 6:15pm on Wednesday 27 March 2019. Should we experience traffic the school will notify you via our Skoolbag app or email of our new estimated arrival time. Teachers attending will be: Ms Keeble (Assistant Principal & teacher in charge), Mr Louch (6L), Mrs Vlahos and Ms Kernan. Students will be visiting: Australian War Memorial, including Discovery Zone and Last Post Closing ceremony. National Dinosaur Museum ‘Dinosaurs at Night’ tour Museum of Australian Democracy "Who’s the Boss?" program National Electoral Education Centre – facilitated program Driving tour of the Embassy and Lodge District Reconciliation Place Questacon Flip Out Mitchell (similar to Sky Zone) Australian Institute of Sport Mount Ainslie Lookout Parliament House – Tour of the Senate and House of Representatives and the Parliamentary Education Office facilitated program.

As part of Bellevue Hill Public School’s Physical Education and Sports program the children in Years 3-6 will be participating in a Cross Country Carnival. This event will be conducted at Centennial Park near the children’s bike track. The running schedule is as follows: 8yr/9yr Boys (2km) 8yr/9yr Girls (2km) 10yr Boys (2km) 10yr Girls (2km) 11yr Boys (3km) 11yr Girls (3km) 12/13yr Boys (3km) 12/13yr Girls (3km) Where: Centennial Park – near the bike track Transport: Bus Time: Bus departs at 9.00am. The carnival will conclude by 1.00pm Bring: Recess (snack, fruit) and plenty of water. Wear: Sport uniform, sports shoes, hat and sunblock. Cost: $12.00 This carnival is being conducted so we can select representatives for the SCPSSA Zone Cross Country Carnival in Term 2 at Centennial Park. Students have been practicing at school during PE lessons. In addition, students are encouraged to practice their long distance running with their families in the lead up to the Cross Country Carnival! Please finalise payment via POP (payments tab on this website) by 20th March, 2019. If you have misplaced your child's permission form you can download another here. The signed permission form must be handed to your child's class teacher.
