All tours will depart from the School office, which is located in the original building, at 9:30am. Bellevue Hill Public School’s Annual 3-6 Athletics Carnival has been scheduled for Wednesday 31 July, 2019.   Venue:              Hensley Athletics Field, 79 Corish Circle Eastgardens                         Time:               Students will be travelling by bus to and from the venue. We will leave at 8.45am and return at 3.15pm. Students will need to be at school at 8:30am.   Lunch:              Students should bring recess ,lunch and plenty of water.   Clothing:           House colour t-shirt and navy shorts or skirt. Students should also be equipped with tracksuit or similar, sunscreen and hat. Appropriate footwear must be worn. Students should bring a rain jacket. Spikes are not permitted.   Events:             Students will get the opportunity to participate in 100m, 200m and 800m and 1500m which is a new event that has been added to the program in consideration of NSWPSSA Guidelines, as well as long jump. Shot–put will be conducted at school. Students wishing to proceed to Zone for high jump and discus will need to present a note from their coach attesting to their achievement. This needs to be given to Miss Brash by Monday 5  August 2019. No entrants will be accepted after this time.                             Students wishing to enter the 1500m will need to arrive at Hensley at 8:45   Cost:                 TBA   No student will be attending without payment. There can be no refunds for this excursion   Permission notes must be returned to class teachers.                         *Please note: All judges’ and teachers’ decisions on placings are final.   Parents and friends are welcome to come along and support all our competitors.   Darran Rawson and Lauren Brash- Sport Co-ordinators                                               Sue Bennett - Principal

P&C Meeting

Our monthly P&C meetings are well attended and continue to be a fantastic way for members of the P&C to get together to share ideas and information. We are very fortunate to have the support of our Principal Suzanne Bennett who attends every meeting and provides us with valuable input and information. The P&C actively promotes the interests of the school by: Raising funds to assist in the provision of equipment, books, teaching aids and improvements in the school environment. Bringing parents and teaching staff together.  All parents and friends are welcome to come along to P&C meetings. You’ll be the first to hear about the curriculum and other school matters, as well as P&C activities and how you may be able to assist (if you are willing and able). You might even make some new friends!  P&C meetings are held on the first Monday of the month at 7:30pm, in the staffroom which is located on the second floor of the main school building.

K-2 Athletics Carnival

K-2 Athletics Carnival – Trumper Park - 2019      Wednesday 14 August, 2019   Where:                  Trumper Park, corner Glenmore Rd and Hampden St Paddington   Cost:                       $TBA   Bring:                    Water in a refillable bottle Picnic lunch in a carry bag with student’s name on it.                                 Wear:                     House colour t-shirts and sports uniform, school hat and running shoes   The students will depart school by bus at 9:30am for the park.  At the conclusion of the carnival students will return to school by bus departing the park at 2:30pm.    Parents and friends are welcome as the students really love to have their friends and relatives involved.   Please give permission by Friday 9 August 2019.   PARENTS  NB:   If your child will be going home with another child’s parent, your child’s classroom teacher needs written notification from you.
