Congratulations to the Year 5 students who participated in a cooking program with OzHarvest designed to teach students about how much food is wasted in the world and how we can help to reduce waste by using left over products, especially fruit and veggies.
The students learned to cook and make their own recipes which they collated and made into a Cookbook. Books can be purchased for $20 from the office with all proceeds going back to OzHarvest for future projects.
There was a media launch on Thursday with VIP’s - such as Ronni Kahn, the CEO and Founder of OzHarvest, Colin Fassnidge, Chef Ambassador & My Kitchen Rules judge, Dr Paul Owens, Director Educational Leadership who all spoke about the project and how wonderful our students are.
